Title: HTC Amaze 4G & Sensation 4G finally confirmed to Receive ICS update

Since Google released the source code for Android v4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, every high-end Smartphone owner has been waiting to see a notification on their Smartphone that says, "A new version of Android v4.0.1 is available for your device. Upgrade now."

Although Android v4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich has been around on the Internet for months but many people are not too comfortable in installing some random software update on their Smartphone. They prefer a stable update offered to them by their cell phone manufacturer.

Recently, HTC release Ice Cream Sandwich update for HTC Sensation and HTC Sensation XE and today T-mobile confirmed that HTC Sensation 4G and HTC Amaze 4G would also get upgraded to the latest version of Android operating system soon though chances of getting a custom user interface i.e. HTC Sense UI 4.0 on top of Ice Cream Sandwich is looking unlikely at the moment.

As of now, T-mobile hasn't confirmed that dates on which this update would be delivered but if you're the owner of above mentioned device, you would be the first to know because T-mobile would send the update notification to your Android Smartphone over the high-speed 4G network.

Android v4.0 ICS brings several features to Android Smartphones including zero-lag camera shutter, Android Beam, Face unlock, Near Field Communication support etc. thus it is definitely worth upgrading to.
